Meta-Braze Range of Silver Brazing Alloys

The Meta-Braze range of silver brazing alloys can be used to join most of the common engineering metals used in industry such as copper, copper alloys (brass, bronze, nickel silver etc.), nickel alloys, mild or carbon steel, stainless steel and tungsten carbide. They are not suitable for aluminium or magnesium alloys.

Meta-Braze 145 Si

Meta-Braze 145Si provides an alloy with silver content and properties that are between the high silver (55 / 56%) alloys and those with a medium level of silver (38 / 40%). The addition of silicon gives the alloy a smooth neat fillet meaning that brazed joints have an excellent appearance. Consequently this alloy has been used in decorative brass tube and pipe fittings.
