We can provide solder rings, washers and other pre-formed shapes. Some pre-forms can be made with a flux core, eliminating the need for a separate fluxing operation.
Product Uses and Applications
Lead-free solders are widely specified for their elevated strength and resistance to creep at temperature. They are also obligatory for components where compliance with EU RoHS, EVL, WEEE Directives and other environmental regulations are a factor.

It is relatively strong and has a melting point approximately 40°C higher than common tin-lead alloys. Solda-Met™ 96S exhibits superior wetting on stainless steel than many other solders and provides a good colour match for stainless also.
